Looks like a very nice routine from a blog I routinely follow. All you need is some hand weights.
Right before Christmas I was going to add in an extra fitness challenge & then I tweaked my shoulder & it's finally back to normal . . . did some light weights last week.
Went to see Life of Pi yesterday. A truly visually stunning adaptation of the book, which I loved, but it was a bit too soon -- I spent much of the movie watching the tiger & thinking about Simba.
My birthday is still several weeks away, but my thoughts have already turned to my birthday dinner. For years we didn't go out for dinner because it's a holiday & then one year I just decided I was worth it.
But you have to make reservations. For a change, DH will be home -- unlike last year on my 50th. But he has a late meeting that particular night.
Do I want to go out for a fancy dinner?
Pick up some sushi & then go out on the weekend (going out twice is appealing -- we rarely do)?
DH really liked the idea of getting a pizza & then going out on the weekend. Of course he did - it requires no effort from him at all.
And of course as I'm narrowing in on my goal I don't wantto gain weight.
Right now I'm sort of waiting to see how it goes this week. Will I meet this week's goal? If I do,it's easier to allow a little splurge in a few weeks. Nothing crazy, of course.
And I'm proud to say we had to go to the mall this weekend for the movie & all I did was window shop. Because any real shopping is waiting on how I do this week, too.
