Saturday was a busy day. We had our class. Then went to check out this consignment shop that carries horse related items. I was astonished at the prices they had going on there. May as well have been buying these items new at a not so new look. It was disappointing. I would buy a used saddle there because I like them broke in...but I don't need one of those. I bought a saddle a few years ago that I've only used a maybe 25 - 30 times...more in this last year, as a matter a fact...
Then we went to the farm. It was our day for chores and the dry lot was a pig sty. They horses like to stay there near the barn when the weather is bad (can't blame them) so, my husband and I took a wheel barrel and a half (we're talking the huge wheel barrel, not a regular size one) out of the dry lot. And our boys stalls took a wheel barrel themselves....then the other 3 were just part of the dry lot. I guess you could say, our boys like to stay in when the weather is horrible.
Then we stopped at Petco to buy Zoe a birthday present. I have to get a picture. My husband has been wanting to buy her clothes. So, I caved at a sweater. OMG...we put the sweater on the little girl and she is so proud. She is prancing around like a princess (one of her real nicknames) it's so priceless. I guess I need to get Zoe some more clothes.
I'll have to take a picture. Too cute!
Tried clothes on Roxie...she was not impress.
Yesterday, I did paper work and got the budget ready for next month and watched Netflix. It was too cold to do much else.
We're supposed to get freezing rain most of the morning....and we've all (work) decided to go in late. So...I'll be happy so long as I don't have to skate across the parking lot. I hate driving in ice. The thought of staying home has crossed my mind...but my boss wouldn't be happy with that since I only live 5.5 miles away....and drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle....not that it really matters on ice. At least the high today will be 39. Yay!
Off to face the day! Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
