What does the word STRUGGLE mean to you?

The never ending fight with the scale, battle of the bulge and all that on-going nightmare, and constantly reminding yourself to not give up?

Why is giving up even an option?

Do we give up on other struggles? Like trying to get an energetic toddler's shoes on, or fitting your luggage in the taxi when you go on vacation. Giving up is not an option.

So why is something so important as good health such a struggle? Ok, there must be hundreds of reasons. Butů

Giving up is not an option.

My granny use to say "if it is not worth working for, it's not worth having." This is so true. If we went to bed fat and woke up skinny, would we appreciate it? Maybe. I think we would be over joyed and expect everything to be handed to us. You always appreciate things more when you work for them, so giving up is not an option. Getting where we want to be is a struggle ,but it is one that we can win. emoticon
