So, despite being sick (which I think I mentioned in statuses but not in blogs) I lost two more pounds last week. I didn't track religiously last week nor did I get to the gym much on lunch- just too sick to try cardio. I did walk on the track one day and of course went to both BeFit classes, and I really didn't eat too much. This week I'm coming to the end of my cold so I'm sure my appetite will be back, but I know I need to track and be good!
I am having soup for lunch today since my throat is still sore and I'm coughing a lot. I bought ice pops to keep at work so will probably snack on a few of them. They are 40 calories apiece so I'm limiting myself to two or three (more likely two) a day. My plan is to go to the gym on my lunch break even if it's just to ride the bike or walk on the treadmill- no jogging today!
I'm feeling good about this weight loss. I'd love to see 10 lbs gone a week but I know that is utterly ridiculous and impossible, so I'm sticking with slow and steady. I'm looking at it this way: if I lose 2-3 pounds on the next two weigh ins, I'll have already lost 10 pounds! I know I can do this and I know I don't need to be ashamed about small losses.
Anyway...feeling well enough to do makeup today after a week without, so off I go to get ready for the day. :) Happy Monday, Sparkers.
