So day 1 started off okay. I kinda dipped this morning (like 1 am this morning) by eating a bit of buicuts and gravy from Shari's after dancing and a couple of drinks. (but hey, I wore my heart rate monitor and I burned 1600 calories dancing for three hours).
But starting off Sunday, I had the a serving of the crustless quiche I made with carrots and zucchini with two slices of bacon at 10 am when I was getting ready for work.
I started to get hungry at 1 pm. I drank some water but I looked at the clock and thought it was 2:30 so I decided to eat something. (It was really 1:30). So I had 6 oz of chicken breast and a homemade smoothie with coconut milk, berries, spinach, kale, chia seeds, flax seeds and protein powder. After lunch, I felt a bit better with some energy.
I didn't get home until 7 pm, that's when I made broiled steak, with sauteed peppers and onions with mashed cauliflower. I ate, but I wasn't that hungry. So i took my time with dinner and felt satisfied afterwards.
I stayed around 1200 calories, with 55 grams of carbs, 64 grams of fat and 135 grams of protein.
So it was a good first day. I have tomorrow planned out and put together because I am working a double so I will be working for lunch and dinner. (I hate the long days, but you gotta do what you gotta do)
