Sunday night....ready(sort of) to start the new work week.....We had talked about going to the fitness center today, but it did not happen....after church and lunch....naps were in order as my Hubby had not slept much since getting off work at 7:30 this morning. We are going tomorrow anyway, so we will probably get in a longer, better workout with a full night's rest for us all. I start my early shifts tomorrow, so I need to try to make this short.
As usual I went over my sodium goal today, but by only 5mg! WooHoo, that is an accomplishment for me. Calories was another matter, but not too bad for a weekend....I tend to overdo it on the weekends....I need to get that under control...it is getting better as I go along in this lifestyle change journey.
I have ten whole days before my next doctor's appointment. Whoopee, I get to have another CT scan of my chest and then a full Pulmonary Function Test(PFT). I have done part of a PFT twice before, but as this has been scheduled by my pulmonologist at a different facility, I think it will be a more intense study than I have done before. I am not really looking forward to it, but it should be interesting to see what it shows since it has been a year now since my Pulmonary Embolism was diagnosed. I really don't know what kind of results to expect. I hope I manage to stay healthy, as I want to get this over with.....I had to reschedule it after my bout with the Flu earlier this winter. After all this testing, I get to have a follow up appointment with my pulmonologist who will discuss the results with me...I have not actually met with him since April....I have seen his PA which has been fine with me as she is very nice. Oh yes, I also get to download my C-PAP machine's microchip or "tattle chip" as I call it. It will tell how often and how long I have been using my machine...it will also tell if the settings are helping control my sleep apnea or if it needs adjusting. I really feel I have been doing quite well at complying with using it, but I have fallen asleep a few times without it.
Well so much for keeping this short.......I will quit now and get my beauty sleep. emoticon Good night Lynel

    It's hard to believe there are only 4 days left of January. It sure has been harsh up here hasn't it.
Good job on the sodium. Maybe if everyone picks a low caloie meal to cook on the weekends that will help you out twice...you get to Not cook and you get to eat new low calorie choices...LOL
I had fun this week looking for those raw food meals but it does take time to look them up and make sure you have all the ingredients. But I had last week off so that helped me.
This week I'm working and D.H. is using my staining/varnishing skills so that is adding on two hours per day helping with that. I'm going to have to get my elbow pads out to "protect" my exercise time I can see.
I hope you have an enjoyable day at work.
