Staying on track

This week was difficult in the way of working out because my husband was sick and I was trying to keep our 6th month old away from him (just say no to sick babies). This meant that I ended up skipping my normal evening work outs and that I absolutely had to stay on track with my nutritional goals. This morning I weighed in after eating breakfast, only to find that I was two pounds lighter. I'm not going to lie...this was extremely motivational.
I definitely think there is something to having to log on everyday to track your goals, nutrition, fitness, etc. I'm sort of a fan of getting points and I find that I'm logging in more than I ever did when I first started in 2008. Now there is something about being more accountable to myself and to having a tracker that shows my progress.
