When I weighed in on Saturday, my weight was down, but only by 1.4 lbs. I'm so close to 10 lbs. down. I knew my loss would be lower than the last 2 weeks because I had a few drinks this week and I usually don't drink. Also, I went out to stay at my friend's house and he lives 2 and 1/2 hours away. That's a lot of inactivity just sitting in the car.
I got my ingredients and this weekend I made 4 recipes to be used for meals throughout the week. One is Hoisin-Ginger Pulled Chicken Sliders. It's a crockpot recipe that was in my Fitness magazine. Very good. The other 3 all came from my Sparkpeople Cookbook and I've never tried any of them before - Light & Creamy Crab Chowder, Lemon-Pepper Spaghetti Squash with Broccoli and Spinach Tomato Pasta Salad.
They look good. I was surprised at how easy the spaghetti squash was to make and how much it yields. Why haven't I ever tried spaghetti squash before?
I found out at tae kwon do that instead of having classes 5 nights a week as we have been, we're just going to have it 3 nights a week. I'm kind of looking forward to that. Even though I like tae kwon do, it's easy to get burned out. Plus I'm already checking out the gym schedule and if I can work it out at work, I could take a Zumba class and a RIPPED class after work on those nights I don't have tae kwon do. Or I could just relax, or go do something with a friend or get to sleep early. Oh the possibilities.
