Day 27 - The Plan, day 9

It was a beautiful day yesterday and DH went out on the boat for an overnight trip. I am not used to him being away anymore and I didn't sleep very well. The slightest sounds woke me and I was awake every hour...
I had a leisurely start to my Sunday morning, did a yoga session and stuff on my computer before hitting the shower and getting ready for my day.

I feel smaller than I was the beginning of the month and I dug out my old size 4 Old Navy jeans - perfect fit :) I'll have to review my spring wardrobe and revisit old favorites.

Weigh-in tomorrow morning!

Meals for the day:

Breakfast - flax seed granola with blueberries and a splash of coconut milk, dandelion tea

Lunch - green salad with 1 oz goat cheese (chevre) and pumpkin seeds, bowl of spicy veggie soup, 10 almonds

Snack - 1 oz of 72% dark chocolate, half a pear and a pot of tea.

Dinner - 2 oz carne asada (steak) with a chopped salad and zucchini, garlic and basil sauteed in citrus olive oil



Chopped salad: 4 servings
5-6 cups romaine, chopped
1 zucchini, diced
1/2 red onion, minced
1 carrot, diced
1 apple, chopped
1/2 avocado, chopped
cilantro
sunflower or pumpkin seeds

    Yum! Haven't made carne asada in a while! Mmmm. Making me hungry lol ; )! I would probably be the same way with hubby away. I have never once in my life slept in a place completely alone. Is that weird? And in the 13 yrs being married to hubby if we ever spent a night away from each other I had one of our little guys with me. I think the longest was a trip I took with just my oldest when he was a baby to Mexico back in 2001! Other than that hasn't really happened.
It must feel fantastic to be fitting so well in your clothes right now! Wooohoooo to that! I am jealous. But motivated as well ; )

    sorry you didn't sleep while DH was away. Gosh with the time that my DH leaves me up to 2 months at a time, I had to get used to sleeping if he is here or not.

I know what you mean about not sleeping well. I don' t even like it when my hubby stays up later than I do. I just don't rest as well until he comes to bed.
