What's going on with me

Here it is another Sunday night. Went to church and lunch out at Ruby Tuesday. I had a big salad consisting primarily of salad greens and then ordered the fish tacos. I gave one to my hubby. It is so good, but with the salad, it's really too much, so I was glad DH would enjoy one too. Not expecting a weightloss this month as I have been overeating again. I just hope the scales don't rise!
Went to Target with my friend after church/lunch. Since I had a gift card for Starbucks, treated her to a snack there. I had a latte. It's not very healthy, but I ordered a small one versus a huge one just to enjoy the treat. I rarely go to Starbucks since I have to go to a neighboring town to get it and I am over the hype of boutique coffee, but since I had the gift card, it's a tasty indulgence.
Did over an hour of Wii Fit 2 days in a row (maybe 3), but none today. The kids took over my Wii TV with XBox so it might be a day of rest for me! I will make up for it tomorrow though. One thing that's great about Wii Fit is that the activities don't last too long so you can come and go with it throughout the day instead of devoting all of your time and attention for a solid block of time. It keeps up with your minutes and calories too so you know if you are hitting fitness goals. I might pull out the resistance band when I get through with this blog and get in a 15-minute session. I need to use my tools or why have them?
I enjoyed reading all my friends' blogs. My message of don't give up was reiterated on several. Despite imperfection and a lack of discipline we must never give up. If we overdo it at the dinner table, we must still get our water. If we have one bad day of being lazy, we must do better the next time. If we don't want to get our water we must at least not replace it with sugary soda. One spark friend mentioned that her strategy is to eat a freggie with every meal, and I think I will adopt this strategy as well. I usually eat veggies at dinner and often at lunch, but not always with breakfast! I also will strive to get half my water drank before noon and not to use substitutions more than once a week. That means I won't call unsweetened tea water more than once a week! Today I didn't get in my water earlier and will have a time making my quota before bed! Keep on sparking y'all!
