I have some free time so decided to do a blog on how things are going. I have been doing great with my exercises and getting all that I need in for a day. I am doing pretty good with my nuritrition as well. It feels good to be fit and healthy and happy. My 44th birthday is tomorrow and I don't know how I feel about being another year older LOL, I am definitely wiser ; ) Thank you to everyone for the Birthday wishes :)

I had my 2nd nerve block injection on Thursday and so far it seems it isn't helping at all, just like the first one. I only had 2 days of no pain in my hand and arm, then it is back to the same level it was before the injections. The Doctor did say somthing about maybe trying a different injection if this one just isn't working. I don't know if I will get any more injectioons it is a long drive to the surgical center, I can't eat or drink anything 6 hours before the procedure, can't even chew gum to keep my mouth moist. I get sedated so have to have someone drive me back. The procedure takes about 3 hours.

Now that I have the injections out of the way I am going to start doing more job hunting. I am still going out and seeking food donations for Relay for Life events that are coming up. It is good as it keeps me busy.

I hope you give herbs and Scullcap a try. They helped heal my nerves . Hope you have a good week. Sorry to heal the injections did nothing for you. ( many times injections kill off nerves) and other times they do nothing. ) It depends on what they use. Most times its a waste of time, and money and it delays real healing ! Its always a catch 22 when you inject anything into the body. Hope your feeling better soon. susana

Amy, I am sorry that the injections didn't last long for you. I know how frustrating that can be. I admire you for going on and doing all you can and for looking for work. I hope you can find what you are looking for. emoticon emoticon
