Oh Sweet Hobby of Mine

Becoming more involved in your hobbies while trying to lose weight has revealed itself to be most important. When I write, paint, or do something I enjoy, I find that my cravings for foods I do not need disappear. My advice, for what it's worth, is to get wrapped up in something you enjoy. For example; my University does a student journal every year where they accept art, photography, short stories, poetry, etc. So for the past week I have been trying to get a collection of poetry together so I can pick three to turn in. I was fortunate that they accepted my piece last year called "Poseidon's Lullaby," one that meant so much to me. I hope this year goes well. I noticed that between trying to come up with something good for this journal and spark people I do not think about food as much. Spend more time cultivating your hobbies, and don't forget to have fun.
