My Week Chapter Two

Sunday, January 27, 2013

Another good week for me, not perfect but good. Again I set daily goals and for the most part managed to reach them. I'm working really hard at getting rid of the all or nothing mind set. This really helps me when I go off the rails, it's like, okay this is done move on. I experienced going off of my meal plan regrouping and at the end of the day was only 3 calories off my daily target yay me.
I successfully completed stage 3 of the Run Your Butt Off program, I start stage 4 tomorrow run 3 minutes walk 3 minutes I looking forward to it.
I was pretty on target with my Simple diet food plan not perfect but satisfactory.
My progress with the Full-Filled book excites me, I think that I'm having some really profound insights into my eating behaviour and habits.

I didn't lose any weight this week I actually gained 2 pounds but I'm not too worried I can't really call it TOM because at 50 it's any old but it is that time. I ate well and exercised so it will come off when it comes off.

My husband got our home gym set up so next week I will re-introduce strength training.

So many great things! I'm sort of right with you on the running plan -- kinda between Stage 4 and 5. I started Walk 2: Run 2.5 and added a 4 minute jog towards the end at a slower pace of about 4.7 to 5. I guess if I did all my runs at 5.0 then Stage 5 would be totally possible. Typically, for the other cycles I do 5.5 for the running. So glad you're still doing it. I really can't believe how much progress I'm seeing after 2 weeks. I'm so thankful!

Please tell me more about this Full-Filled book -- I just may have to be on the Simple Diet, doing RYBO, and reading the same book as you, too. When you have a moment, I'd love to know more -- author, etc.

Okay -- Happy, happy day!!!! We are going to be running

Sounds like you are doing great! Progress not perfection! I keep a toning rubber band by my chair in the living room and tacked up on my bullitin board at work. When I think of it, I can always use it to do 20 or 30 seconds of toning.
