Best Nutritional Change! Green smoothies!

This is the easily the best change I've (ever) made along the lines of nutrition. My husband and I have a green smoothie every day. My nails are growing and I have more energy than I've had in years (keeping up w/ my grandchildren too) ...What a wonderful change for hubby and I. The Vitamix is amazing as well. :) Here's a few recipe's I've followed and varied using carrots, beets, ginger and other ingredients.

Smoothie w/ Avocoado and Apple:
1 cup of apple juice
2 cups spinach, kale or collared greens
1 apple - unpeeled, cored, and chopped
1/2 avocado - or not (I don't like the avocado) replace w/ a banana, keeping in mind it will take over the taste of the drink, and it will mostly taste like banana.

Smoothie w/ Mango and Lime:
2 T fresh lime juice
2 cups spinach, kale or collared greens
1 cup frozen mango
1 cup green grapes

Or - our favorite -

Smoothie w/ Pineapple and Banana:
Half cup or more of coconut milk
2 cups spinach, kale or collared greens
chopped pineapple - (recipe says 1.5 cups)
1 ripe banana

I use Simple Truth (organic from Kroger) both coconut and Vanilla Almond, which is amazing in flavor too.
