2013 Goal Check

It's almost the end of the first month this year and so far I don't feel like I've completely thrown away my goals. Of course, I do think I could do better. It's a matter of making healthy choices habits and second nature.
I had some random goals that were reading at least twice a week for pleasure and thrice a week for goal enhancement/knowledge. I'm really happy that I've stuck to those goals. While they may not be related to weight loss, they've definitely made me feel more grounded as a person.
Something that I could do better is be less lazy with my workouts. The past two weeks, I've definitely been slacking. It might be because the first two weeks I was intense with it. It's a matter of finding that balance. My goal for today is going to roller derby practice and having at least twenty minutes where I feel out of breath.
I got a really cute dog in August and I have to say, it's nice having someone hold me accountable to walking for at least ten minutes twice a day!
