Man it was tough to get out of bed this morning! It was a good thing my dad went to the race with me because otherwise I probably would have slept right through it. I did the groundhog race here which was pretty cool. The entire race is underground. So it was definitely nice to have the climate control.

I'll have to wait to find out what my exact time is but I know it was about 43 minutes so I am happy with that. I have another 5k I signed up for in May, so I am hoping by then I will be able to run the whole thing.

Update: my official race time was 41:31.5 Not too shabby for my first one I'd say
