My Five Year SPARK Anniversary coming up! Feb. 2, 2008-2013

Sunday, January 27, 2013

I am down about 24 lbs. emoticon I am very thankful for that!
It has been a slow journey with many ups and downs.

My most proud achievement is (early June 2011) starting the Evening Eating Sabotage Myself-Help! Team.
The members have helped me tremendously!!!! emoticon we are still going strong I am happy to say. You think the team was to help members. Well I started it to help myself! I could not conquer this problem and I needed to focus on evening (over) eating. I have made progress but still struggle with evening overeating.

During these years I have retired from teaching and that also helped my focus on my health. It is such a relief not to go to work daily. Even now, it is hard to get everything done. No wonder I had a hard time while I was still working and caregiving and handling my own fibromyalgia, etc.

I will NEVERGIVE UP! The hundreds of SP friends I have chatted with and the thousands I have lurked to see your blogs and posts--------------- are all part of my lifeline! emoticon

Congratulations on 5 years of working on a healthier you! I, too, struggle with that dreaded night-time feeding frenzy. I feel it's gotten better, though, and happens less often. That's the key - never giving up!

Way to go, it is not easy losing then keeping it off. I too tend to want to eat in the evening. I keep raw carrots on hand to munch on.

Happy emoticon and I can't wait to retire, too.
Teaching just hasn't been fun these last 5 years for me...not always the kids either...
