Today is Sunday. In exactly 19 days I will be back at work after 5 and a half month. That feels wierd! So to get ready for that event, I have to start getting used to waking up with the sound of my alarm clock. I also needed to find a way to have it waking me up without waking my fiancé up. I found that the radio at a low level does wake me up and it didn't affect him. So tomorrow I will use it again but will set it 10 minutes earlier each day so that by the day before the 15th it will ring at 5am.
In prep for the return of the "normal" schedule, I have decided to start 2 streaks. One is to go out each day for a walk (already on a 3 days streak here) and the other is to do another exercise 3 times a week. Let's see how long those streak will last then I'll have a value to beat! I like that idea of not putting too much pressure on myself but still aim for better than the last time.
This week I have a few things to do. Make sure I get the paper work done for my passport (I want to make sure I will be able to go to the biggest loser resort in May!) Take an appointment with the hairdresser for just before I go back to work. Go shoping for at least one outfit. I am very low on clothes. I want to feel great when I go back to work! I don't know why I feel that way because the way I look has never been really important to me.
The more I walk, the more I am looking forward to running again. Since the streets are still not on pavement, I may just go to the gym and try it on the thread mill. good thing is the gym I used to go to offers daily rates. We'll see about that next week.
Over all, I feel good. So nice to not have pain and not be so tired. I feel like I am really getting back to normal and that is great!
