She said she had to end all the well intentioned suggestions from family and friends.

I can tell she is getting excited. Her fiance' is really a great guy. They have dated for about 5 years. They are both 37 and this is the first wedding for both of them.

I am nervous about being "the mother of the bride" and the only guest from her side of the family. I am glad the wedding is casual. We will spend 3 days at a hot springs in the state where she lives. Before and after the ceremony there will be a lot of sitting in the hot springs which sounds like heaven to me.
