Good week

Sunday, January 27, 2013

Weighed myself this morning, decided to start doing Sunday mornings instead of Monday mornings, down just under 10 pounds since starting this. In researching new scales figured out that all mine needed was a new battery (about 5 years on old battery) and I didn't even realize they worked on batteries so I'm good to go. Looked for a wrist blood pressure cuff but Target wanted $60 and I just didn't want to pay that. I'll break down on the 2nd pay of February and get it but I just didn't want to do it now. Maybe I'll pay off my gym membership then, too. I got some compression stockings but I can only wear them an hour of so at a time, need to get a doctor's appt to get his take on all this. Just decided to do that at the same time I get the BP cuff so I can take it in and check it against the doc's readings to see if I really do have white coat hypertension as I suspect. Also need my cardiac risk profile and all the other stuff checked out, it's been 13 months since my last blood work. Tried the cupcakes at Gigi's Cupcakes, what a waste of money. The ladies at WW who told me about them must not be able to cook. Overpriced and not that good. I'm glad I went so I don't feel deprived! Figured out I've been eating about 12 servings of lasagna at a time when I make lasagna. That was a shock. I'm going to freeze a bunch of it. Live and learn!
