Weekly fitbit report & exercise goals

I am not happy at all with my fitness and exercise this week. It was very cold and I was not going outside to walk or even to climb stairs. I did go out once to do the stairs, turned around and went right back in the house. I have asthma and I was not going to kill myself to get healthy. Where is the logic in that. I could have done DVD's I have everyone of Coach Nicole's plus we all have SPARK! emoticon I must admit that I did not, I thought about it, and said I will when I get up again or when I get up and get my mat.....but it never happened. I have to get out of this funky excuse mode. I am turning to jello and my knees are really starting to bother me. Of course that could be because it is cold and I am due another round of shots, but it is lack of exercise too. I am not going to BS myself anymore. My fitbit has spoken. I am LAZY and SEDENTARY and I need to get off my A$$. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Now for the pathetic, insulting, ridiculous, disgraceful report. These were last weeks goals.
1. Earn 1 step badge for the week(5000) emoticon 1683 highest
2. Earn 3 floor badges for the week(10) 0--no floors climbed at all
3. Fitness/aquatic center 2x 0 haven't left the house
4. Complete week 4 January Jumpstart 0 videos did get 10 minutes of exercise according to the fitbit
5. Do one of Coach Nicole's DVD's I have emoticon
6. mini challenge for 2013 team. emoticon I achieved one
7. strength training 3x emoticon
8. cardio 5x emoticon

These are my goals for this week. I will achieve more than one, I will achieve them all. emoticon I can do it. I will do it. I am woman hear me roar. We are suppose to be having a heat wave, it is actually going to be getting into the high teens low 20's this week.

1. Fitness/aquatic center 1x
2. Walk 3000 steps in a day.
3. Earn 3 floors climbed badge(10)
4. Redo January Jumpstart week 4 completing the videos
5. Positively Yours mini challenge started today
6. Cardio 5x
7. Organize bedroom

I left off strength training because most of the videos are ST. I only put the pool down once since I haven't even achieved that yet. We are suppose to have storm Luna tomorrow and I have a Dr. appointment at 2. My plan is to go and work out, and shower there and go to the Dr. appointment from there. It will be snowing but the wintry mix I should be home by the time that starts. Home the weather cooperates. I do have a back up plan. I have my workout in my gym bag and will do it at home with dumb bells. I know I won't get the relief of the water but at least I will get some ST in.

    You sound like me! This cold has been BRUTAL!

Thankfully, I have to get outside at least 2x a day for our dog. Plus we have stairs in the house.

I just got my Fitbit One a few weeks ago.

    I am a big believer that you don't have to engage in big blocks of fitness all the time. Every hour or so you could jog or walk in place for a few minutes and it will add up. I bet it is hard in a really cold climate to do your workouts if you are inclined to do it outdoors. I like the wii fit for many reasons and one is because you can jump on it for a minute or two or half hour at a time. The most important thing is to never give up. Keep on sparking; I enjoy reading your comments on the 50+ site.

    It's perfectly okay to set the goals smaller and work up from there. You can do it!!!!

    I think you did a great job! Know it's hard to do well when your knees are bother you. My father has bad knees, and this time of year really bothers him. I have no doubt you will do well this week! emoticon

    Winter is a hard time to remain active in. The only time I go out is to go to work and back again, and then I'm bundled up like the Michilin man! My asthma has flared up this week because of the cold too. You have to be careful, BUT you have some wonderful resources at hand. Take baby steps to get back into the swing of things. Instead of doing the whole dvd all at once, do one portion of it, and then take a break, then do another segment. Look for a different SP fitness video to try. I did the pirate workout yesterday, and it was fun! You used some pretty harsh words to describe your report. I would disagree with ALL of them. Pathetic, you are not. The report is not YOU. You will figure out how to get out of this little funk, and soon you will be raring to go!!
