Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Fire!

Sunday, January 27, 2013

My husband was going to take Mom's laundry to the nursing home yesterday. He went to pay a bill first. He came in and told me that The SPCA was pulling out as he was getting in his truck.

It is in their court now. I cannot tell what is behind the plywood on the sides of the pen. It could be sufficient for the dogs. Personally, I wouldn't leave an animal out in the cold. My son told them that his concern was that the dogs had a sufficient shelter in these temperatures.

I have had very itchy eyes, but no discharge like pink eye, thus the title. I am so tired of not feeling 100 %.

So glad the SPCA came. Did they take the dogs?

It may be the mold. Mine are itching too - I am highly allergic.

So now you know if the doggies are still out there it's ok. You did good!

Many things can cause itchy eyes, but I remember when we burned wood, our house was very dry and my eyes would itch all the time. We set up humidifiers and that helped a lot.
Also, the last time I had my eyes checked, I told my Eye Dr. about how dry and red my eyes had been and he said that sometimes that is due to an infection. He gave me eye drops that I am putting in my eyes 4x/day for 2 weeks and then 2x/day for 2 weeks. I'll let you know if that helps or not.
I am glad that the SPCA stopped. I cannot stand to see an innocent animal abused in any way. You did the right thing by calling them.

emoticon Just know you're not alone about not feeling your 100%. I miss my 100%, too. Sure hope the dogs survive the cold. Some folks shouldn't be allowed to own pets if they can't take care of them properly. Hope you'll enjoy a good day today, dear heart~ emoticon BB~

Having a cold can play havoc with diabetes so please check your sugars. You might need a vitamin D supplement too.
Glad the SPCA have investigated, let's hope you don't get any unpleasant comebacks from the neighbours.
big hugs
