Here I go AGAIN

Sunday, January 27, 2013

Starting to sound like a broken record. Sometimes I feel like such a failure. But I have to keep trying - FOREVER. If I give up, I will be a failure!

Back on my program again. I managed to stay within 20 pounds or so of my lowest weight but have been slowly heading in the wrong direction! emoticon

So, I'm starting again - one day at time, one pound at a time. I keep praying, keep on truckin! What else is there but hope and effort in this difficult journey!? Well, and confidence in oneself, of course! Happy Sparking, everyone!

Yep, I totally agree. Sometimes what keeps me going in the desire never to have to start again - if I don't give up, I will keep moving forward - no matter how slowly. Finally at 54 years old I am learning this lesson and its liberating!

Thanks everyone! It sure is a great thing to have such supportive folks on SP! That's what keeps me coming back when I sway...and what keeps me here when I'm doing well. Hugs and thanks to all! Have a great week! emoticon

It is part of life's journey on this path we call our lives. There are bumps and potholes and detours. Yes, the bumps and potholes can cause damage and the detours can take us way off track if we don't watch. However, as we drive we figure out where we are, what we need to do to get to point b and keep doing it. I also figure some of these bumps are flat tires, we get out and change the tire and keep on going. It's what gets me thru this when my motivation is low. I keep the oil filled with my water, the gas tank full with healthy food and a wash and wax with the excerise. It works for me. Traveling a lot has taught me that. Good luck with your journey. You can do this. You were smart enough to see the detour and correct it a lot sooner than most of us. Good job. You should be proud of that.

emoticon It is a "life long journey" I believe. I also feel like I am back at it again, but unlike you, I waited too many years and too much weight later. You are smart to do it now. You are can do it, and do not feel discouraged! Much better 20 lbs than 220 lbs!!!!
