Sleep, televison, miscellany ... in that order.
From WikiPedia: "Northrop Frye said of Ros' novels that they use 'rhetorical material without being able to absorb or assimilate it: the result is pathological, a kind of literary diabetes'".
Evidently you reach REM sleep about every 90 minutes , depending on the length of the sleep cycle . And how long is that cycle? 70-100 minutes, it seems.
II. X-Files and Related
We're almost done with season 3, and with it season 2 of 'Dollhouse.' It will then be time to start with 'Millennium'. The latter has three seasons of about 22 episodes each; its first season began airing in October of 1996, as did season 4 of 'The X-Files.' An early episode of season 7 of 'The X-Files' serves as a crossover with and conclusion to 'Millennium.'
Therefore season 4 of 'The X-Files' will go with season 1 of 'Millennium,' seasons 5 and 2, and season 6 and 3 respectively.
A season 9 episode of 'The X-Files' serves as a conclusion to 'The Lone Gunmen.' That show ran only 13 episodes, from March to May of 2001; season 8 of 'The X-Files' ran from November of 2000 to May of 2001.
