So tomorrow (my work Monday) I am starting the Paleo diet. I had briefly heard of it in the past, but it really peaked my interest a couple of weeks ago when I went out on a date with a man who had been on the Paleo diet for about 20 years. What made me shocked was that he was 42 but looked 33! He said he owes it to his diet and exercise. So i figured why not? I love meat and most veggies.
So i bought Practical Paleo and started reading. A lot of it made sense and some didn't apply to me (I don't have high blood pressure, or any intestinal issues) but I figured with the meal plans and it looked easy enough to cook, why not give it a shot? What's the worst that could happen? Walk away with new recipes to add to my arsenal?Psh...
I went shopping today and bought lots of vegetables and meat. I have already prepped breakfast quiche, chicken, and mashed cauliflower, and vegetables for the next two days. I need to prep my meals because most of the time I am too tired to cook for myself when I get home. So hopefully this will change how I eat and my body will react well to it.
