CELEBRATE SNOW ...26th so not many more days in January

Jan 26th...celebrating the winter snow along our river...The Okanogan river flows through our valley and flows into the mighty Columbia River further south. Yesterday I took pictures while out with DH...the park picture yesterday has the river in the background...then this first one is about 16 miles south of home and you can see it is open water moves at a pretty good clip to keep it from freezing over then the final picture is just a mile north of us taken from midpoint on a bridge

and you can see it is almost frozen across with crumbles of ice near the middle...Lovin' the snow and winter looks along the river and this is part of my valley that i dearly love.

    Still glad that I am on the inside looking at the outside because your pictures make me so cold! I am going to put on a pair of socks.

    Keep those beautiful pictures coming. They look like postcards. It was about 75 here today. A beautiful day to clean our Corvair up.

  I can't believe January is almost over! Yikes! Nice pictures - as I keep saying, I surely do miss the snow and cold weather. I think it was 80 here yesterday, or close to it. Sigh.
