Almost two weeks ago I injured My heel while running 4-5 miles 4 days a week. I thought maybe it was plantar faciatis (my spelling is off) which is not an injury you really want as a runner. Sometimes it takes almost a year to heal if it gets really bad. I don't think that's what I have thank God! I think it is just inflammation of the tissues of my heal because I was wearing those toe sneakers to run in which doesn't really give much support but its like running barefoot which I Love! But I threw those away and for some Nike running shoes. So meanwhile while I've been waiting for my injury to cease I have been using the stationary bike. I do not like it. It's incredibly hard to keep motivated when you have a very limited selection of excercising choices. So today when I went to the gym I ran just 1 mile and then did some time on the bike. I am praying my heel does not get worse. I guess I will be able to tell later today but at as right now I don't hurt so yay!!!!
The goals I set on my spark page for my weightloss are gonna have to be revised yet again. Boooo :( I can't dwell on it though. I gotta keep looking forward and focusing on that hot body I WILL have when I reach my goal. So later on today or tomorrow I will update my goals.

    You are doing great--we all misstep from time to time, we are human! Slow and steady is the best way so don't beat yourself up--keep pushing!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
