The difference between a great weight loss and a minor one

I've been lazy lately. There hasn't been much walking nor have I put in any of my fitness games. I can tell, I'm tired and the weight is jumping around and not in a good way. I had lost 9 pounds in two weeks, but then gained 2 back. It's not enough just to watch what I'm eating, I'll need to try to be at the low end of my calories to even stay steady with no exercise.

Getting back into the 10 minutes a day routine will help jump start the weight loss. This danged 180 (I'm just under it) seems to be my third stuck number. I have the fitness games and love the yoga type games, I just need to get off my butt and do them.

It's one thing to watch what you eat, and if you have a lot of weight to lose still, weight loss can come easily without movement, but as you go along in the journey, you must move in order to keep the weight coming off. I can't be lazy and still lose the weight, time to go move around!

    There's nothing wrong with 10 minutes a day. Did you know that when I first tried running 25 years ago, I lasted for only 30 SECONDS? Yesterday, I did 7.1 miles. That 10 minutes can morph into more before you know it. You have the right attitude - food and exercise. Hang in there!

    Ugh! I know how you feel about exercise. You can do it though! The 10 minutes a day helps definitely. For me it has been the 190's I have trouble with-- it was where I got stuck in 2011. I try not to think about it as "that number" and it helps. Just a day at a time.

    So true! But just look at how far you've come and tell yourself that you are so close to where you want to be. The trick is then in the "staying there" part. I think once the weather warms up it will seem like things will more easily fall into place and make sense. Have FUN with your fitness games! I would love to try something like that!

    Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started. I love the kinect games, once I get started that is! Then it's so much fun that I can easily overdo it! You are so right about the 10 min/day goal! So have some fun today. Pop in one of those games and get moving! You know you'll feel better once you do!

    Don't give up. You can do it!
I hate it when I feel that I have earned a weight loss and have gained instead. But, I know that if I just keep at it I will start moving again. The trick for me seems to be the exercise, too. Haven't been able to exercise this week (cold with a fever) so have not lost any weight. I am betting that I will show progress on the scale as soon as I get back to the exercise. Still eating at the low end of my calories and that is good.
