First Week Back: Almost Done

I'm starting over again. I've been scared of getting back on the scale for the first time, so I made a compromise with myself. I would calorie count for this week and wait to get a starting weight on Monday morning.
I feel better about it reminding myself that my weight will be the same whether or not I know what it is. I also feel better reminding myself that it is a lot easier controlling my weight if I know what my weight is.
This week has been a bit of an adjustment, like being back at school after a long summer. I stuck with it though, it is the weekend, I find the weekends easier, so I am over the hump.
