Actually, I'm okay driving one handed... my van is a dream, must have been made with this kind of thing in mind! LOL I don't have any problems except for fastening the seat belt-- and closing the door once I'm in! LOL
Cooking has to be simple stuff that doesn't involve opening cans (which I don't do much anyway) or chopping--which is a really a death knell for my renal diet! Not fun, huh, Mary? LOL
Washing my hair is pretty easy once I actually get into the tub--the "getting in and out" is the tricky part... and my hair is still long... but cutting it now would be harder because then I'd have to actually DO something with it every day! LOL
Laundry is a nightmare, even at the laundromat--the Korean lady who owns it is very nice and helpful, but it's six or eight trips to and from the car at home... and you're right, folding SUCKS... And forget ironing, if I have to iron, I won't wear it any way! LOL
You know, Libby, I even went to my church's website and it told me I had to have an ID number from the proper clerk to find out which congregation I belong to... but if I knew the clerk, I'd already know! Talk about circular logic! LOL ... people are so... interesting sometimes... LOL
And you're right about the writing thing, Steph...-- the page won't stay put! LOL
Picky, how clever... Problem is, the dumpster is clear across the parking lot from me... and walking is an issue. Now if I were to DANCE it across, it might work--but I think they might send the men in white coats to haul me off in that case! LOL
I found a place that will drive me to my colonoscopy... but I'd have to schedule another day, the 18th is President's Day. My doctor's office is open, but the Community Svcs office is not. Go figure... Guess Ill call and see if I can do that... wish me luck!
