So far - I've been bad at meeting my 2013 goal of getting better sleep. I am feeling the effects and it could hinder my efforts on my weight loss and in general, my health.
Sluggish mornings with the toddlers, leads to less outside play time, to more hyper children, to headaches due to the hyper-ness, to pushing back my online work - which leads to making up for lost time in the evenings and getting to bed late and potential late night snacking and unwanted calories! - A vicious cycle.
It's currently Midnight.. Tonight will be my last late night. I am going to aim to hit the sack by 10pm and hope to be asleep by 10:30pm. I want to start waking up before the kids get up, squeeze in a quick video workout and get my day ramped up and have more energy.
This will lead to more time to spend on things I need to get done earlier in the day so I can unwind in the evening.
