So based on my own likes and dislikes i wanted to find a new protein smoothie i could make at home that would hopefully replace the atkins ones i currently use in the morning at breakfast. A little more prep will be on my part yes... but doable right! I love the atkins ones but they have tooo much Artificial sugar for my liking and i want to start cutting back on that! Heres the Recipe:
This has a great protein Source, Great Fiber Source and Lots of Caffine to kick-start my Day... This calls for a Veresimo Espresso Pod shot but if u have another style of POD machine like KCups or Tassimo or a regular espresso machine u can use that instead just pour a nice clean shot!
My Berry Blast Energy Smoothie: (In a Blender, Mix)
1 Cup of Fresh or Frozen Berries (I will use Frozen 4 Berry Mix - Strawby, Blueby, Raspby, Blackby)
3/4Cup of Liberte Plain 0% Greek Yogurt
1-2 Tbsp Ground Flax Seed
1 Scoop of GNC Whey Protein Vanilla Flavored Powder
1 Double Shot Verisimo Starbucks Espresso Roast
1 Tsp of Honey (for Diabetics like me use 1 packet splenda)
Blend Well! Add Ice before blending if desiered or Water or milk 1/4 cup if needed to make it smoothier!
