To my 16 year-old self

There is so much that I want to tell you, but at the same time I know that if I tell you not to do something, it will change the outcome of where we are now. So here's what I can tell you.
You are perfect just the way you are. You are beautiful, so don't worry that the stupid 16 year-old boys don't see it. You're becoming a beautiful, young woman without all that drama.
Don't listen to your mother so much. Make some mistakes. The beauty of it all is that they'll be your mistakes to make.
Don't try to grow up so fast. Live in the moment. Enjoy being a 16 year-old.
You will fall in love many times. And with each and every one of them, you'll fall head over heels. But when you finally meet your soul mate, it'll be so much more then any of the previous relationships. You'll feel like you're finally complete. Don't worry, it'll come.
Your children (yes, you'll have some) are going to be smart and beautiful. You may not think so now, but being a mother is really going to be one of your favorite jobs, and you'll be really good at it. =)
Your original idea for what you want to be when you grow up is not what you'll end up doing, but you'll still be helping people.
Don't give up on your dreams.
Above all else, stay true to yourself. Don't forget how beautiful you are.
You are loved,
