Here we go, yet again. I have been good at almost two weeks for the exercise part of the 28 day challenge. But, I've been eating more than needed...........WAY more. I just hate failing all the time. I normally have a positive attitude but I feel sick:{
Guess tomorrow, is yet, another day and another beginning.

    So sorry you feel discouraged! Maybe you need to try a different diet. Personally I find that when I eat carbs my "hungry" feelings spin out of control, so I love Atkins because I feel satisfied after eating a reasonable amount. Even so, it was hard to learn new eating habits, and I fell off the wagon a few times too. Atkins is not for everyone, but many people have found success with lowish-carb diets (e.g., Perricone, Paleo, various diabetes diets). I hope you'll hang in there until you figure out what really works for you and makes you feel HAPPY and optimistic. Giving up is no fun. Good luck!

    We have all been there! I know I have! I like what TUNISIAN_PURL said and plan on applying that into my nutrition! It was an excellent idea and I hope you are able to utilize it as well. You can do it! We learn from our setbacks and we keep moving forward. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!

    Don't let discouragement get you down or make you feel bad. We all have days we eat to much or we don't exercise knowing we should. You are not alone, you're in the same leaky boat with the rest of us. That's why we need each other to lean on, vent to, and plug the holes when we are to tired.

Her's a small fix that may help, schedule one day a week to eat what you want with no guilt allowed. The other six days do your best to at at least two healthy meals a day. Allow yourself seconds, but make seconds another helping of vegetables and tell yourself it's ok. It's allowed. Before you know it, you're back on track eating what you should. After a few weeks you won't even want seconds at all.

A few more tricks that will help:

Use a 9 inch plate and fill it with no guilt. Make one half veggies, one quarter meat ( 3 ounces) and the other quarter grains. The size of the plate tricks your mind and it does help.

Measure everything you eat. At first this can be a pain in the neck, but before long you will be able to eyeball it. Try eating two veggies, some meat and a grain. Allow 1 cup of what you eat. This will fill you up quick and you won't feel deprived. Schedule two snacks and measure it out. I usually eat 1/4 cup of trail mix with dried fruit, after chewing awhile on the fruit my hunger is squelched.

Drink water when you're feeling hungry or Walmart's brand of crystal light. It's only five calories and will help as a filler too.

I'm in the boat with you so lean on me and I'll row awhile :) We'll kick those leaky holes together!
