Third workout for tonight?

There’s nothing quite like applying for a job (that I know I’ve actually got a shot at) to really boost the weight loss efforts. Directly after applying for the job online, I braved the great outdoors for a brisk walk throughout my neighborhood.
Walking outside… twice in one week? Who do I think I am - a consistent exerciser?
I need to slow it down before I get a reputation around here as a street walker. Hmm… street walker. Why do I feel that label has been used before for something other than exercise related? I’ll have to come up with another term for what I do before I accidentally brag to my grandma about my recent street walking success.
There is one lady across the street who’s a ‘walker’. Not a street walker though (at least I don’t think). Several times a day she’ll slowly wander up and down the street talking on her cell. Every time we see her we duck down and whisper, “Shh! The walker’s out!” like she’s carrying some kind of zombie virus and we’re afraid of attracting her attention. And no, it hasn’t gotten old yet.
Back on topic Kristina!
Ok. So I applied for a job and I think it’s a perfect fit for me. The only problem is that I’ll be outdoors a lot during the day. That’s not a problem unless of course you happen to live south of the Mason-Dixon Line. And Florida would definitely qualify as one of those states. Most of the time, you do not want to leave the comfort of air conditioning during the warmer months (which for us is March – September) unless it's absolutely necessary. And even then you're just going from an air conditioned house to an air conditioned car to an air conditioned store and back again. Are you starting to get it? Here in the south, we live by the air conditioning and we die by the air conditioning. Seriously - so many old people die in Florida during the summer because of heat stroke. Seriously.
Needless to say, being a big girl in the Florida heat and humidity does not a happy girl make. So I need to lose a lot of additional poundages and I need to get a hurry on it.
Oh and not only will this job be in a mostly outdoor setting – the uniform would also be shorts. I’m inwardly cringing at the thought of shoving these tree trunks people refer to as legs into shorts right now.
I already did my workout for the night (in addition to my brisk walk earlier today) but I’m seriously considering doing it again. It’s still early in the evening and those imaginary shorts aren't getting any bigger...
Update: I just did an additional 20 minutes on the treadmill. Not much but any little bit helps...
