Well I've managed to gain 4 pounds since the beginning of the year. By last month I was supposed to have lost 10! So what have I done wrong? I've started eating regular potato chips again on the weekends, as well as as much coke I can drink on the weekends, rather than just one 500ml bottle. My portions of food are bigger too. Being on night shift I found myself munching on the wrong stuff and eating the baking I was doing for the kids in the group home. Instead of sampling one cookie I'll have 4 cuz they are just sooo yummy!
So now I am doing 3 afternoon shifts a week which will be better. I will be kept busy with the kids, but I'll still have to be careful about eating the suppers we make at work. I will have to make my portions smaller again and maybe even bring my own food on days that something calorie laden is on the menu. I will also have to remember to take my water bottle with me to work, and cut down on the coffee I consume there.
I will have to make a point of getting out every work morning for a walk! I have had very little exersize in weeks!
So today is day 1, new beginning!
