Tomorrow my boyfriend has his first "cheat" day after four weeks of a modified paleo diet. It will most likely consist of doughnuts, pancakes, pizza, pie...basically every carb and processed sugar he's wanted in the past month, in one day.
I plan on staying on track. I don't feel like I need cheat days because I usually am eating what I want but, at the same time, I don't have any of the above items in the house so it is easier.
I refuse to criticize or ask him to change his ways, because if there's one thing SparkPeople has taught me, it's that everyone loses weight differently. He lifts weights everyday and does cardio often, and he's eating high protein and almost no carbs. It's how he's choosing to get healthier and he says he'll reintroduce carbs when he loses a few more pounds.
I'm just praying my willpower gets me through tomorrow. I can do this. Water, fruit, and only a little treat here and there. And a nice run.
