19 Days..Woohoo it's Friday!

It's been a few days since I've blogged so I'm going to make a new entry today. Let's good thing about today is that it's FRIDAY! Woohoo!!! I'm a 6th grade teacher, and this afternoon the 6th grade team had a math workshop at school. I was still in the building, but a sub was in my classroom for the PM. My class is pretty good, but I always worry about how my students will be when a sub is there. Usually, I just get notes and updates on the lesson plans that I leave. Well today I was out of my classroom but still in the building for the workshop. It was about 2:00 and I had to grab something in my classroom for the meeting. I snuck back to my room for a minute and my kids were sitting and working PERFECTLY! I was so happy! :) It's the little things sometimes! I've decided that I'm going to do something nice for them on Monday...don't know what yet...?

I've been doing super well on my new healthy lifestyle these past 19 days. On Monday I am hoping to take progress pics. I know I don't look THAT different, but my clothes are fitting WAY better. I at least notice a difference, not really sure about others yet. I'm proud of myself and how dedicated and disciplined I've been these past almost 3 weeks. I definitely don't feel like working out today, but I think I might do a SP fitness video or two. It would only be about 15-20 minutes, but better than nothing. I always feel so much better about myself after I exercise.

Nothing else too new or exciting. I'm definitely happy that it's the weekend so I can relax a bit. It has been a stressful week, but I made it though and still have a smile on my face! :)

    It speaks volumes about you when your students are with a substitute, but you have them on track from all the time & routines you've instilled in them. I've been "sparking" for 3 weeks also, and just this week I've felt like my clothes feel better. Good luck on this journey.
