"I think he was a mandroid."
It's weird watching another week come to a close, and with it the month is nearly over. How quickly time flies.
I.
Ms. S. got us a package of "meatless meatballs" (by Veggie Patch) yesterday and today they're going into a batch of spaghetti (with a generic tomato/pasta sauce), along with plenty of veggies (asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower) on the side and a salad. And a glass of red wine won't hurt.
Sounds like a meal to me ... but it's still 3-4 hours away.
II.
In the meantime we'll get to "Avatar" ('The X-Files'), a Skinner-centric episode and a Victor-centric episode of 'Dollhouse.'
Yesterday evening it was 'Top Chef,' an episode in which Josie was finally eliminated ... as part of a fried chicken challenge. Wolfgang Puck was on fire with the snark, enough to inspire Tom to suggest he open his own chicken joint, Wolfgang Cluck(s). Emeril still looks like a Sontaran. Over in Last Chance Kitchen CJ has been beaten, and Kristen defends her coat against Josie, who drops a piece of salmon on the floor during the challenge.
Perhaps we'll have time for a movie later.
III.
My life is more than food and television.
