Special Week

Friday, January 25, 2013

That was a special week, especially because a lot happened.

The whole week was pretty cold in Montreal, about -40 with the wind.

Monday - Went to the gym. Did 30 minutes on the elliptical. That felt so great! After, I had no energy and crashed on my bed. I was wondering why. But I was happy because there was not a lot of people in the gym and I managed to decide which machine I could use. Pretty rare in downtown.

Thursday - Encountered a doctor because I have an hard time to breathe since a few weeks. Discovered at the same time that I am sick because I have a very sore throat.

Yesterday morning: Woke up and no water in my appartment. The pipes froze. I had to go to the job. The pipes were repaired at 10h30 in the evening.

Oh, and yesterday I did zumba! That was great to dance a bit once again, even if my throat was killing me after the course.

I don't know why but my throat is very sore when I sleep at night. Even the expensive anti-cough syrup won't do.

I don't want to give up the gym because I'm sick. I'm afraid to lose my motivation. At least I have my trainer to kick my butt if I don't go!

Can't wait to finish work! I'm so tired that I know that I will crash once again in my bed. I even have an hard time to eat.

I have to force myself to drink more water too. I know it's important to heal.

Maybe the fact that we have to heat so much inside dries out the air too much. ever thought of a humidifier?

It's good that you went and worked out. Keep it up!
