What a great day! I've finished my workout by 10 AM and have the whole day left to accomplish things. (And I do have things to accomplish!)
I blogged about feeling close to open rebellion against my exercise plan a couple of days ago. For now, anyway, that has been averted. I have motivation again - from more than one source.
1. My husband is retiring today. It is his last day at work. Next we get to learn how to be retired. Not to stop doing things and decay, but to be able to examine subjects and locations we previously had no time to explore. We're both looking forward to it.
2. My youngest daughter is engaged. The wedding is in June, and I'm just now diving into a number of sewing projects she has asked me to do for that event, and I am eager to do them. My usual rule is that I have to finish my workout first, so I'm not dragging my feet as I was earlier in the week.
Amazing the difference between slogging through a workout because it's a chore that's "good for you" vs. doing it with energy so as to be able to do something you are looking forward to doing!
