Hello all, hope everyone is doing well on their journeys to a healthier, happier life.

So, A LOT has changed since I last posted on here. God blessed me a wonderful new job. I had to go to San Antonio, TX for training with my hubby and his caretaker. I'm working from home, continuing as a telephone triage nurse. I absolutely LOVE it, but its been difficult getting back into the swing of things. Got home on Dec. 15, and I still don't feel like I have a routine yet, but that will come.

I started reading Dr. Phil's Weight Loss Challenge and am feeling very hopeful. I'm addressing some painful emotions that I've stuffed with food for FAR too long. I'm looking forward to transforming my thinking.

    Welcome back, sis! What you're doing is very difficult. It takes courage to really examine your eating habits and explore the emotions that cause you to binge. It's easy to ignore it and make excuses. I'm trying my best not to make excuses for my bad eating habits, but instead to dust myself off when I falter and keep going. If you make a few bad choices in one day, it's very tempting just to write it off as a bad day and tell yourself you'll start again. I've done that more times than I would like to admit.
