JUST DO IT: How did your ADMINs do with their *D* goals??

We committed ourselves to all of you to DECIDE to do something, and we're committed to following up so you can see how we did! Accountability, we believe in it!

emoticon Terry (TEKRU1): "OK, the thing I've been struggling with for the last year, unsuccessfully, is giving up diet coke - my DECIDE is to go without one for at least one day!"

emoticon Terry reports that she is STILL Diet Coke free!!!

emoticon Nicole (FITLIKENIC): "My Decide : FIND a Walk friendly 1/2 Marathon and register for it! No more being worried I'll not be able to do it, or will run out of time."

emoticon Nicole says: "Looking like Denver Rock N Roll Half or Amica Seattle, still chatting bout the dates but narrowed down (I think), LOL. Just need to confirm vacation is available, then hunt up accommodations."

emoticon "I am going to DECIDE to get up earlier! I talk about it, but I don't. STARTING NOW....I WILL DECIDE to get up earlier in the morning! I sleep BEST in the mornings...sleep horribly at night so 9am is my goal to get up for this challenge."

emoticon Jen reports: "I was up every day before 9! " (Now to work on getting in more quality sleeping hours!)

emoticon "I just registered for the Flying Pig Marathon Relay. I haven't used a training plan or ran on the weekends since last September. I will decide on a plan to follow to train for the race *AND* I will actually run on the road (OUTSIDE) this weekend regardless of the stinking January weather!"

emoticon Mel says "I printed a program and did it JUST in time! It fits in PERFECTLY with the race date! I've stuck with the plan, INCLUDING that quality time spent on the road Sunday with my audiobook, it's great to hit the ground running again!"

My cleaning under the fridge and stove led to more and more! The oven is now clean and pretty inside (using oven cleaner, not the self clean mode, which doesn't clean well), kitchen floor, doggie cages and the doggies too! Whew! emoticon

Okay...slep tricks: warm milk, melatonin, camamile tea, or 6 cycles of 4 by 4 breathing....4 seconds of inhaling, holding, exhaling, exhaling the rest, repeat!

    Awesome job, all of you! I really enjoyed reading about what everyone did--and was really amazed at how much everyone accomplished.

Mine may sound small but it's something I've been wanting to do for over 20 years and never got around to doing--daily meditation, specifically sitting meditations. So I did 5 minutes of meditation every day.... not just for the 4 days of the challenge, but the full week. Still going, actually, though I missed last night. But I will fit it in today before I go to bed!

    congrats leaders glad to see you doing so well.

My Decide and Do is to control stress eating and portions by less snacking, having snacks around that are healthier or make sure I KNOW the calories I can have. First weekend went well, this week I had one day I let get away a little but I still tracked it all and lost the first week!

Thanks for being so inspiring. This round reflect motivation and inspiration!!

    Well, it may sound skimpy as a goal, but it is big for me. This year I started doing actual jumping jacks since I broke my leg 4 years ago and this past weekend I did something I've been scared to do and that is simply skipping! I skipped during my walks! What fun!

I found a great HM myself ... it's May 4th and just 30 minute drive from my house - flat course. So now I have 2 months to get ready. It's probably good that I don't know what I don't know ... or I might be nervous emoticon

    I decided to commit to exercise of some sort everyday and tracking my food. So far I have done both of them.

Congrats to all our leaders - you are doing an awesome job managing all of us and keeping us motivated.

    Kudos to all of you. You all certainly set the tone of BLC for all of us to follow.

I finished last round with a loss every week. I decided to do the same for this round. I know that we have just started, so too early to judge yet. But I will say that in Weight Watchers, I have registered a loss every week with the exception of one maintain since Aug 20. I CAN and I WILL continue on.

    COngrats to each and every one of you on your accomplishments!! I did great on not eating potato chips. But I didn't get my project finished because of a run to ER with my grandson when he had a seizure. So I still need to get that finished. BTW, he is fine now!!

  Terry, not drinking diet coke is one of my New Year's resolutions. I have not let a drop pass my lips since New Years Eve. How did you find it? It was really tough going the first few days, but I even managed to go to the pub and just drink blackcurrant juice. Keep going it's definately worth it.

    Great on your goals!! You're all good role models.

I didn't do very well on eating freggies, but I have been doing my exercise schedule and most of the time stop eating by 8:30.
