Hi and to let some others know....
well this weeks challenge was to do a Detox the all natural way. I was totally skeptical about
this and the link supplied was pretty confusing to me but Ms Marki ( ryderb) was so kind to
help in any way she could. I had sort of an unusual week as I was supposed to go to several
dr's appt and what not. So my main problem was figuring out and what days to do this and to go to the store to buy and stock up on the things needed to accomplish this.
I did the lemonade cleanse the first day and drank that with some green tea and just plain hot water. I read on the net about detoxing and found a lot of it very interesting . I was so NOT into doing this really.
I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised that I really was not at all that hungry. I did miss my morning coffee and my one evening diet coke. My stomach growled I think about 3 different times during the day and I fixed myself some hot water or a lemonade cleanse. I also picked a very cold day here and knew I'd be unable to walk outside so did some inside exercise and drank my water. I did take it a little easy and tried to be more relaxed and treated it as my "treat" day or relaxation day and did deep breathing and soothing things.
I was so surprised at how easy it was that I decided the second day to do the fruit and vegetable only cleanse day and did that also. I really really enjoyed it and I was shocked on the next morning when I awoke at how "refreshed " I felt.
since I did mine I have found a 3 day detox on Dr oz's web site that lists a whole 3 day planned one with a complete grocery list and I plan to do that one another time when I can carve out these 3 days to do it undisturbed. I will definitely be trying it again due to how wonderful I felt afterward !!!
well worth it !!
oh and btw I lost 3 pounds this week ... woo hoo !!
Just wanted to add that Dr Oz is revealing a brand new detox program for losing weight on Monday jan 28th !
