I am so close! 4/10ths of a lb! Hopefully by tomorrow.

I had eggs and mushrooms today for breakfast, and went to do my 90 minute walk. I am volunteering tonight, so hurrying to cook up lunch dinner. Chicken was frozen, so I am boiling it, then I will cook up vegetables, and add the chicken after it cools, and I dice it. That way I can take a nap while it cools, then get up eat, and go in at 4. My brother works till close at the pizzeria, so my friend will have to pick me up.

Our car has a problem with the front end. Some part that is wearing out. The mechanic said we could wait a few months, and it cost $309 to fix. Yesterday we went outside and there is a 5" crack in our windshield. We took it in, and they told us that it needed to be replaced, but the crack would not grow, we could also wait on that. It will cost $302. So hopefully in February we can fix both. Probably use up my brothers tax return. At least it is happening at the right time. I will be happy when we pay the car off later this year. That will give me an extra $400 a month to save.

I guess my brother is pretty good at computer programming. His teacher is pushing him that way, and says he is exceptional at it. Thinks he would be a team leader in 2-3 years, and make $150K. I think my brother is thinking that with that kind of money comes stress. He also has CHF, so he is looking for a quiet desk job, to make life easier. He is considering changing though, but most likely gonna look for a comfy governmental job with a 40 hour week, benefits, and no boss running up to him at the end of the day, and adding 4 more hours. He is also acing business, and accounting classes. He even likes his nutrition class. So far all A's in his first 2 semesters. He is done with all his assignments on his syllabi, and turned them in. So as the class progresses, he is re-doing them as review. So he already has the assignments done up to March, and has passed them all. He laughs at how easy it is, while some of the kids are lost, and they just give up and quit. Of course, I hear about this all day long, so I am passing this along... it will probably bore you

It is snowing today, and will be 22 for a high. I can't wait till it warms up, and gets to freezing. Monday they say it will be 40, and 48 on Tuesday. If the wind is down, I can walk outdoors. That will be a nice break from the gym. Then it is back below freezing. I can't wait till mid-March, for warmth.

Anyways, my chicken is boiled, and I am off to get a 2 hour nap. Then eat, and head out for the night. Have a great day!

Awesome job on the weight loss. Tell your brother to stick with the programming. He doesn't have to be a team leader he can still make 80k+.

My fiancÚ is a computer programmer, he enjoys his role, he is first an astrophysicist but has learnt some obscure coding language that got him head hunted for this job and us moving to London.

If you are good, then there are certainly opportunities out there.

Sucks about the car, they really are money sponges.
