My Motivation for Today

I did cardio and then worked out with my trainer. I did a pretty hard workout. I wanted to do more when I got home, but the day is too busy and that won't happen.

I hope to do more tomorrow. I am motivated to make healthier eating choices. I am trying wild rice with vegetables for tonight. I hope it tastes okay, I never made it before. I am trying to eat cleaner, and more veggies.

I am motivated to remake myself as a healthier me.

I am a work in progress.

    Yum! I was talking to my DD about how I have learned to like healthy foods. I am not someone who loves change but sometimes change is easier than you think. Switching to brown rice and adding some wild rice ... more veggies... more fiber (beans and lentils especially, quinoa etc.) it all started one trial at a time. Good for you Lynn.

    When I make brown rice ( 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water, I add 1/4 cup of wild rice. I adds a crunchy, nutty flavor. I also add it when I make soup. I love it and hope you do, too.

    I used wild rice in my soup yesterday. It's strong but real good! It was my first time using wild rice as an ingredient.
