Over the past couple of weeks the biggest thing that I have learned is that I need to plan my weekends better. Not just what I am going to eat, but what I am going to do if I get bored that does not involve eating.
One of my biggest enemies is boredom. If I am sitting at home watching TV I am almost 100% likely to tear apart the cupboards trying to find something to eat.
Winter in the Adirondacks sometimes is really fun, especially when I can enjoy outside sports. Lately with the weather being between -20 and -35 all I have wanted to do is sit in the house.
I'm thinking the next couple of weeks I am going to try and be out of the house as much as possible because even if I am busy in the house I tend to still want to eat. Maybe I will go visit some friends this weekend!
