Grand baby here!

Friday, January 25, 2013

Good Morning; Can not believe how much energy you need with a 10 month old. She is non- stop. She is teething and miserable at times. I remember those times also. When she smiles, you just want to melt. DD is at Disney World at a reunion. She is a worry wart - calls in or texts about 3-4 times a day. Many times it happens when I am very busy with baby. emoticon Over all, we are doing better than expected.
Not too fond of SIL, he asked that I fly to Albuquerque in April to watch baby b/c DD and SIL wants to canvas SF to where they are moving in the fall. I told them I will watch baby if you bring baby to my home. He says we can not afford it. I just know that he is from an upbringing where he can just ask and he will receive. I want control of my day- I want to be able to go to the gym. I need the support that I have in my home to achieve my goals. I have decided that I do not mind helping DD, but it needs to be at my convenience. SIL makes remarks like we can ask my parents to watch her. I tell him I guess you better. I will not be made guilty b/c I want to put my needs first. I have done my time of sacrificing for my children.
Every one have a good day!!! emoticon emoticon

Children can and do when they are forced to do. If his parents were going to take care of her, they would not have had to ask you! Yes and they keep us young! How precious they are! Do you and don't feel guilty about it at all. They need you! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I agree, stick to your routines and be comfortable in your own home watching her.

Enjoy Adrienne! Hmmm....what' up with your son in law??? That wasn't the nicest of things to say, IMHO.

Well, anyway, hoping you thoroughly enjoy your time w/Adrienne. And I don't blame you AT ALL for watching her on YOUR turf, on your terms!
