Scale addiction...

Soooooooooooo I've said it before, I will say it again... Im a scale stepper... I am addicted to the scale. emoticon

Hello my name is Heather and I have this unbelievable compulsion to step on the scale everyday.

That being said, it helps me to stay my course or work a little harder or know that it's ok to relax a bit this weekend and I LOVE the predictability in that for myself... MOST of the time! emoticon

This week has been an insane scale stepping week.... LAST Friday I get on and I weigh in at 152.... Saturday I get on and Holy Hanna Im at 154 .... What the heck?
during the week I've been working on coming down slowly and today which is my "Official" weigh in day for myself I am weighing in at 151.5.

Which Im so-so ok with but not really since I have been eating within my range all week, I have been to the Gym three out of 5 days so far and worked my butt off... ok that's not entirely true, I worked my butt off 2 of the 3 days the 3rd day I took a class that was SUPPOSED to work me to death but ended up not and just irritating my rotator cuff.

So maybe yeah I should be ok with that weigh in since I have now talked it out loud and I can actually see that, that is all I really earned! LOL

Blogging is therapeutic, I don't know why I don't do it more.

Lets hope next week's weigh in shows a little more effort from me. I want to be at my Goal weight by April, before my BUST A MOVE FITNESS DAY donate.bccancerfoundatio

So that is 16 lbs to go....

    The scale lies from one day to the next. Not by a lot, but remember the weight you see at a given moment is *only* your weight at that given moment. Think in terms of range, and trend. If you're trending towards your goal range over a week or so at a time, you're doing very well indeed. So many things influence what you weight at any given time that the scale is only an indicator, not a Gold Standard

    I'm always weighing myself, I don't know that it's a bad or good thing, just something we do. Keep up the good work, you're making great progress!
