Dr Lisa: Yoga Blast

I am so stoked! I do reviews for an Amazon.com program. This month they had Dr. Lisa's new Yoga DVD up for grabs. I pounced on it when I saw it in the list. I am really excited about this. I have the Just My Size Yoga DVD, while it is a great DVD to help you relax and gain some strength and flexibility if you are a big girl like me, I feel like I need more. I hope this is what I am expecting it to be. I am also going to try the Sensa 1 month kit. The kit includes a 30-day supply of SENSA® plus a 20-pack of SENSA® Slims On-the-Go Packets. Kit includes 2 SENSA® Shakers, 30 SENSA® Slims On-the-Go Packets, and a Usage Guide. I will post my reviews of both here too.

    CinciyDora - I have a membership to the YMCA and there is a yoga class and a pilates class.....I am just worried about being the biggest girl there and not being about to keep up. I have seen some of the ladies who go into the class and they are rail thin emoticon i just feel intimidated by them right now.

    I highly recommend taking a live yoga class if you can. Show up early, chat with the instructor about any physical concerns or limitations. It's intimidating at first but I found it a very safe place once I got over the initial butterflies. Beginner classes are full of confused people so no matter what your size, you are on an even playing field.

    I'm not sure where in town you are located but I'm close to the yoga school in Pleasant Ridge. If you want a buddy some time, let me know. I was once pretty good at yoga but since my back problems, I'm not as flexible.
